Super Mario Infinity 2 - The Cursed Gem est un hack de Super Mario World. C'est donc la suite directe de Super Mario Infinity. Mario et Luigi ont découvert un artefact appelé la Gem Maudite qui contient un explosif chronométré soi-disant capable de détruire le monde, et la seule façon de l'arrêter est d'entrer dans la Gem. L'aventure se complique quand nos héros apprennent de la présence de Bowser dans l'artefact. Pendant leur recherche, ils découvrent les secrets des souterrains, des indices et des révélations anciennes. Seul le temps révélera si nos héros peuvent arrêter la bombe à retardement, ou si leur planète est vouée à une mort explosive ... Il est préférable d'avoir fini Super Mario Infinity pour comprendre l'histoire de Super Mario Infinity 2.

Mario is a video game character who has become Nintendo's mascot, easily recognizable by his mustache, his overalls, his white gloves and his red cap marked with an M in a white circle.
